HELICOPTER UNDERWATER ESCAPE TRAINING

HUET

The training, Helicopter Underwater Escape (HUET) is designed to train flight crew and passengers in underwater escape procedure in event of helicopter ditching, rolling or inverted upon water entry and it is designed and conducted in accordance to the guidelines and standard of the Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization.

  • Disorientation – Inability to act correctly or state of confusion due to lack of awareness and training.
  • Releasing seat belt prematurely
  • Inability to release seat belt
  • Inability to reach and activate both primary and secondary exit respectively.
  • Inability to don aviation life jacket correctly
